Zac Posen created a very similar gown of the one Paltrow wore, just with a cowl neck in oxblood for his fall 2013 collection.

Capes took many shapes and sizes on the runways. From satin caplets at Vera Wang to tufts of tulle at Christian Siriano. Reem Acra’s were a bit more subtle and almost camouflaged into the dress.

A floor-length cape is a little too Professor Snape for me, but I would definitely be willing to try shorter one like those at Reem Acra. What are your thoughts on capes? Have you or would you wear this trend?
