I’m a big fan of designers who don’t go overboard when it comes to makeup. Because let’s be real, I’m not going to step out of my house wearing purple eye shadow (sorry Jason Wu).

A fresh face is much more realistic and eye-pleasing. Something about too much bronzer, blush and eye makeup just makes me want to drench the offender in makeup remover.

Alexander Wang, Victoria Beckham, Prabal Gurung and Donna Karan are just a handful of designers who have gone with the no-makeup makeup look so far this season. I’m hoping to see a lot more of this trend as fashion week continues!
